This message is for all of those close-minded, well not close-minded, just those people out there that think everyone that has a truck that is the least bit modified for off-roading is a full-blown redneck. Well for one thing I was born in Houston, Texas in 1985 and lived there for 11 non-consectutive years. For three years somewhere in between that 11 years I lived in New Orleans, Louisiana. For three years I have lived here in Madison, Mississippi. I have lived in or near a city for most of my life(I am, however, a Boy Scout and have been camping all my life). So what I mean by that is that country life is not all I know, and unfortunately, Madison ain't much of a country town anymore.
I don't know why other people go 4-wheelin', off-roadin', trailin', muddin', rockcrawlin', or whatever you want to call it, but I go because of a deeply embedded feeling for exploration. I read National Geographic front to back(not really, but most of it), and I envy everyone that works for them. I also envy people with roof-racks, but thats another story. Anyway, I am fascinated with places like Alaska, remote parts of Canada, Australia, and Africa but most of all New Zealand and Antarctica. Unfortunetaly, my truck in its current state would not last a...hell, would not crank in Antarctica. One day if I ever get the chance I will go to all of those places for one reason or another.

-Before you read the following, please understand that I know that people buy vehicles for different reasons. Some people actually want a grocery getter.
Vehicles I Do Not Believe have the right to be off-road at all:
If I do not give a year that means all models are included
One day I will explain myself on all of these models
Sorry if I offend you Comments and Suggestions
This list is not in any order(except for the avalanche)and is based on my personal opinion which is sometimes very radical.
Jeep Willy2(concept vehicle and will not be produced, I hate it anyway)
Land Rover Freelander(now under control of Ford)
'03 Ford Explorer
Isuzu Axiom
Mercedes Benz ML 500
Subaru Outback
Subaru Forester
Pontiac Vibe
Chrysler Pacifica
Honda Model X ('04 Model unnamed)
Mitsubishi Lancer ASX
Kia Sorento
Ford Escape
Cadillac EXT(or whatever that Avalanche looking thing is called)
'03 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Edition(because of the extreme stock options, I don't like the fact that inexperienced people can buy a vehicle that comes with stock Dana 44s and not know what they are or how important they are to experienced off-roaders)
I hate to say that I hate a Toyota, but after a long battle I have given up. Sign the IFS NO MORE petition NOW
Toyota Sequoia
Toyota RAV-4
Toyota Highlander
'03 Toyota 4Runner(it kills me to say that)
'03 Toyota Landcruiser(it kills me to say that)
Jeep Liberty Renegade(now people who don't off-road will get the option of off-road light bar, and probably will not be responsible with them on the road resulting in a possible banning of them, just a theory of mine, and they stole the name from themselves, the Renegade has a legacy and is now being tarnished by a grocery getter)
Vehicles I believe to have the right to be off-road:
1985-1997 Toyota 4Runner
Dodge Ramchargers - Prospector
Jeep Cherokee(not the Grand)
Jeep CJ1 to CJ7
Jeep XJ
Jeep YJ(although they have softened up)
Jeep TJ(although they have really softened up)
Jeep Scrambler
Toyota 4x4 Pick-ups up to 1997
Dodge Ram up to 2002
Ford F class trucks until until current body style
Toyota Landcruiser up until Full-time 4WD model
Nissan Xterra
Nissan Frontier
Dodge Powerwagon
Jeep Wrangler(although they have softened up)
Land Rover Dormobile
Land Rover D-90
All other Land Rovers that I can think of until they were taken over by Ford
K5 class Blazers
others willl be added later, I am going to eat now
-The '03 Jeep Grand Cherokee is the last vehicle to still have a solid front axle, what are vehicle designers thinking. Please correct me if I am wrong
-Nissan is one of the last auto manufacturers still basing their SUVs and Trucks on Trucks. Dodge held out for a while, but according to a few of my sources they have gone over the edge, or back on the edge, however you want to put it.
